U2 Chicago Concert Set List 360 Tour

U2 Chicago Concert Set List 360 Tour

Rumours abounded before the show that Bono was unwell, still he delivered the goods. Bono introduced the whole band before I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, something he hasn't done since the Elevation Tour. Bono sang a bit of 'Oliver's Army' during Sunday Bloody Sunday and threw in a some lyrics from The Rolling Stone's 'Fool To Cry' and '40' at the end of 'Bad'. After 'With or Without You' Bono told the chicago fans "all you need is love ... and a spaceship." presumably in reference to The Claw.

U2 played the first night of the American leg of the 360 Tour at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois on September the 12th. Here's the massive set list.

U2 Chicago  Set List:

Breathe, No Line On The Horizon, Get On Your Boots, Magnificent, Beautiful Day - Blackbird, Elevation, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - Stand By Me, Stuck In A Moment, Unknown Caller, The Unforgettable Fire, City of Blinding Lights, Vertigo, I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (remix), Sunday Bloody Sunday, Pride, MLK, Walk On - You'll Never Walk Alone, Where the Streets Have No Name, One, Bad

U2 Encore: Ultraviolet, With or Without You (lyrics), Moment of Surrender

Here's a picture of The Claw that a keen fan took and posted to Twitter before the show even started!

Awesome show. I only wish they'd done "New Year's Day." But you can't complain. They did a really long show and did SO MANY great tunes.

If Bono was sick, you never would have known it.

Thanks for posting the set list.

Maybe the "spaceship" reference is to Soldier Field's flying saucer modifications.

Thanks for the setlist, I'm hoping for a repeat at tonight's show.

The Wicked is one of my favourite rock groups. I know all the words of their songs by heart so it was nice to remember again in your post. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories about this group . This weekend I’m going to visit my sister and we get pretty good tickets to attend their concert

So I'll be analyzing as well as enjoying the concert.

Bono said all you need is love and a spaceship in reference to being in outerspace. He had everyone pull out their cell phones to make the Milky Way or something to that effect. Nothing to do with the claw.
