Scott Weiland, lead Singer of Stone Temple Pilots has annouced that he will be undertaking a solo tour after STP wrap up their STP reunion tour. This is to promote his new solo album, Happy in Galoshes.

Happy In Galoshes will be released November 18, 2008 on Weiland's own Softdrive Records and features guest appearances from No Doubt members Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young.

Stone Temple Pilots also has let slip they have plans to write and record a new album sometime after completing its tour in late October. It will be their first since Shangri La.
