Beck's Encore: Where It’s At E-Pro

Here's some paraphrasing of Becks's history from Wikipedia.

Beck Hansen (orginally born Bek David Campbell on July 8, 1970) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist commonly known by the stage name Beck. Taking in a pop art collage of musical styles and genres, oblique and ironic lyrics, and postmodern arrangements incorporating drum machines, samples, live instrumentation and odd sound effects, Beck has been feted by usually cruel critics and the public throughout his musical career as being amongst the most idiosyncratic musicians of the 1990s and 2000s alternative rock.

Beck Hansen gained underground popularity with his early works, which combined acoustic country music and social criticism (as in "MTV Makes Me Want to Smoke Crack" and "Deep Fried Love") with musical and lyrical experimentation. He first earned wider public attention for his breakthrough single "Loser," a 1994 hit. So Why Don't You Kill Me?

Beck is also associated with the cult of Scientology and Xenu which is a real shame.

My son tells me that Beck put on a great show, although it was pretty cold, I hear. The only complaints he had were about the sound quality during "Loser" - especially on the vocals. He also really like the light show...
