The Verve Set List Glastonbury Festival Concert

The newly reformed The Verve headlined day three with a strong set list at the Glastonbury Festival.

According to this review during the gig the crowd were in the bands hands - singing, chanting, reliving all the moments they grew up listening to the likes of Bitter Sweet Symphony, Drugs Don’t Work and Sonnet.

These are the songs that a generation of britpop fans and as they turn up for Glastonbury their support shone through.

The Verve played the following set list:

This Is Music
Sonnet
Space And Time
Sit And Wonder
History
Life’s An Ocean
Velvet Morning
Rolling People
Drugs Don’t Work
Lucky Man
Bitter Sweet Symphony
Love Is Noise

Extra for Experts: If you were wondering what verve meant, one could take is as being the excitement of imagination such as that what animates a poet, artist, or musician, in composing or performing; artistic energy and enthusiasm; vigour, vitality and liveliness; rapture, enthusiasm; spirit, energy. And there you have it!

This has to be one of the best concerts I have on mp3. Wish I had been at Glasto for this. The Verve is back...great band, live & in the studio! New album rules.
