Jay-Z Glastonbury Set List plus Wonder Wall Video

Jay-Z Glastonbury Set List 2008

Jay-Z pulled a fly move by answering his Glastonbury's critics with a defiant set of hits and specially written rhymes for his British audience, and he answered Noel Gallagher by opening with Oasis' 'Wonderwall' wearing a Gallagher-esque parka.

Here's the vid:

The crowds loved the set, including the tracks '99 Problems', 'Hard Knock Life' and every hit he threw out at the thousands who had decided to give him a chance. "They say you don't want me here, Glastonbury," he said, "now tell me, where is the love?" And the people answered with cheers.

What won the punters over the most was the effort that the world-class rapper put into the performance - he really went for it. Glastonbury's not just about rock bands, it's about music, and this will be a hard act to follow. - Emily Koch, Glastonbury on site reporter.
